Cheetah Run 4 Mile Race 2013

Congratulations to Ben Thistlewood from Leevale AC (Pictured Below) & Ann Marie Holland (Pictured Below) from St Finbarrs AC who won the 5th annual Cheetah Run 4 mile Road race last night in a time of 19:42 and 24.08 respectively. Ben was one of over 700 runners out of 850 registered who ran on what began as a very wet evening but cleared up as the race started.

The Cheetah Run 4 Mile Road Race is one of the most popular night time races in Ireland and registration for the race sold out in a record time of 2hours 40minutes on the 2nd May. One of the main reasons people love the race is that you get to run with the animals as seen in the video below with Ostriches and Zebras running alongside the athletes.
