Fota Wildlife Park Covid-19 Update

Following the most recent Government announcement and as part of national measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Fota Wildlife Park has taken the decision to temporarily close its gates to the public from close of business tomorrow, Friday 8th January 2021, for the foreseeable future.

Please be assured that our dedicated animal care team and essential staff will continue to provide the same level of care, husbandry and attention that all our animals receive throughout the year. While the gates may be closed to the public our teams of committed and experienced rangers and staff will remain on duty throughout this period.

Our team will be in contact with you directly if you have made a booking to visit during the closure period, however, if you wish to contact us you can do so by emailing [email protected]. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience during this unprecedented period as it may not be possible to respond to your queries immediately. We would advise that you visit our social media channels for updates and news on all our animals and visit our FAQ section before emailing us.

As with the previous closure, providing our animals with the very best of care is paramount, and we’d like to say a huge thank you for your ongoing support, which has been really appreciated during these challenging Covid times.
