FOTABOOK Talent Search

We have teamed teamed up with the Monfort College of Performing Arts to find two online stars, one boy and one girl between aged between 3 and 16.

To enter you must upload a video clip on YouTube and put in Fota Wildlife Park Talent Search - __________ (Name) in the title by Friday 24th August. This in turn will put the video on our FOTABOOK page which will enable people to vote for their favourite video. The videos with the most WILD ABOUT IT's by the end of the week will win the scholarship. Any video that is deemed not suitable or offensive will be removed.

The video should be of the said boy or girl singing, dancing or acting. The winners will receive a scholarship for The Montfort College of Performing Arts for one term (15 weeks) to be used for either drama or dancing.

The winner will be announced on Sunday evening at 5pm when votes will close

Disney Camp Rock Performance

The Montfort College of Performing Arts will perform a 20 minute excerpt from Disney’s Camp Rock at 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm on the 25th August in the Marquee.

The Montfort College of Performing Arts who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year are proud to present the Cork premiere of Disney’s CAMP ROCK; The Musical, based on the hit Disney Channel Original Movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The show is set to fire up the Everyman stage in October with over a dozen songs, including “This Is Me,
” “Can’t Back Down,” “It’s On,” and “We Rock.”

A classic story of rivalry and power, Disney's CAMP ROCK: The Musical opens with Mitchie and her friends arriving at Camp Rock, ready to spend another summer jamming out and having the time of their lives. But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock’s very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown!

Disney's CAMP ROCK: The Musical features a large ensemble cast from the Montfort College of Performing Arts. This high energy show is full of singers, actors and dancers and is a must see for all the family.
