Halloween and Mid Term Events

Looking for something different this Halloween? Fota Wildlife Park is running a camp for 5-12-year-olds from Wednesday, November 1st to Friday, 3rd November inclusive! Each of the three days offers participants a variety of fun nature based activities delivered by experienced professional facilitators in a unique environment! From exploring woodlands to learning about Fota’s animal family – every day will be an adventure! Prepare to be spooked!

Cost: €28 per day or €75 for three days ( 10% discount applies to both members or to three or more participants)
Time: 10am – 3pm

Throughout the midterm, Saturday, October 28th - Sunday, November 5th our activities team will be running the following:

We will have Arts & Crafts from 11 - 2 pm and Face Painting from 3 - 5 pm every day, except for Halloween Tuesday 31st October.

On Tuesday 31st the activities team will be face painting 11-5pm to help all the little vampires, ghouls and werewolves are ready for their trick or treating!!

(Remember the activities are free and included in your entrance to the park.)

*Special Halloween themed Sumatran Tiger enrichment feeding and talk from our Ranger at 13.00 on Halloween - 31st October.*

Then why not pay a visit to the large marquee (near the Oasis Café) where a variety of animal skulls and some rather spooky specials will be on show.
Drop by and let our ed team entertain you with some weird and wacky facts this Halloween break - Mon 30th to Sunday 5th inclusive from 12 to 4 pm daily. Free with entry.

Dog's Trust present FREE Dog Safety Workshop (in Education Complex, separate entry to the Wildlife Park) Tues 31st Oct

Join Dogs Trust Education Officers, Aoife and Dawn, for a  Spooktacular Halloween Workshop in Fota Wildlife Park on Tuesday 31st October at 11.30am. Learn how to protect your pooches from the ghosts and ghouls of Halloween and find out what it takes to tame a Werewolf! This workshop is open to all and FREE of charge! The workshop starts at 11.30 and runs for approx. 45 mins followed by 15 mins Q&A. Please arrive 10 mins early to secure your seat.
Fancy dress is optional. 

Workshop will be held in the Education Complex and while the workshop is free the entry to Fota Wildlife Park is separate. See pricing details here.
