Seasonal Gates/Admissions & Retail Roles

Fota Wildlife Park are currently recruiting for our busy season ahead.

We are recruiting for seasonal staff to join the team in the following areas to provide a quality front line service to visitors:

Gates (Admissions)
Retail (Serengeti Gift Shop/Kiosk/Ice-cream scoop)

Experience for the above roles is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills a necessity.

Role Details

Carry out the daily routine in the shop and/or at the gates as agreed with supervisor.

Tasks include:

  • Meeting and greeting customers, and handling all engagement in a pleasant and friendly manner.
  • Ensure that the shop is effectively merchandised
  • Ensure that all cash from gates and shops tills is accurate and the procedures for its safety are complied with
  • Work effectively with Supervisor and the senior management team staff at Fota Wildlife Park.

Please note that these roles are day-time and will also require availability at weekends and Bank Holidays.
