Fota Wildlife Park will open early to accommodate families living with autism and who may have difficulty with large crowds - from 8 am to 10 am on Thursday 23rd August.

The following facilities will be available for this early opening:
Gates, gift shop and restaurants (Savannah and Oasis) open from 8 am
The train will run from 8.15 am - 10 am (no whistle)

Please remember that animals can be unpredictable and loud creatures at times, particularly the following species: the lions may roar, the gibbons can call and sing early in the mornings and many of the birds’ squawk, quack or crow.
Please also note that there are large areas of barrier-free water when visiting the lake area and the monkey islands.

Also, due to the nature of the wildlife park, dogs (including guide dogs and assistance dogs) or any other animals are not allowed into the park.
