Fota Wildlife Park Saddened by Tragic Loss of Paraic Casey

Everyone at Fota Wildlife Park is saddened at the devastating news that our friend and colleague Paraic Casey tragically died whilst heroically swimming the English Channel for charity.

Paraic was a member of the parks education team and will be fondly remembered by the teachers, students and members of the public for his informative tours and talks that were always done with a smile. We will miss a man who showed great passion and enthusiasm for the park through his conservation and education work. But most of all we will miss him being around us with his smile and positive attitude.

Our thoughts are with Riana his wife, his family and friends.

Please Note: If you wish to support the charities Paraic was fundraising for you can do so via his mycharity page or through the collection boxes at the reception, shop and marquee in the park
