Plan your visit - seasonal opening and booking information

Are you looking for a family day out in Cork or things to do in Cork with children this midterm?

We know that this Christmas things are a little bit different, but here at Fota Wildlife Park we have updated our admission protocols with addtional safety measures - such as  hand sanitising stations placed throughout the 100 acre Park. Since reopening the county Cork visitor attraction after a shutdown due to the pandemic, Fota Wildlife Park are now operating a pre-booking on-line system to comply with social distancing requirements, offering a time slot to arrive in advance of your visit as part of the updated guest protocols. Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions a one-way walking route is in operation and several indoor areas and playgrounds are not currently available. Please see our ‘Know before you Visit’ page here and at all times we ask our visitors to follow the latest Government advice on travelling and social distancing,

Fota Wildlife Park booking and arrival timeslots go live 7 days in advance of visiting and, while spaces allow, can be available to book right up to an hour ahead of arrival times. For example, to book for December 27th, the first day these slots will go live on site is December 20th (by noon) or for January 1st will go live on site from December 25th (by noon).
