Calling all young budding scientists, Fota Wildlife Park is welcoming back our popular Mad Scientist Weekend this year taking place in the newly opened Education, Conservation, and Research Centre (ECRC)!
July 13th and 14th

 

Featuring interactive displays and stands, and talks and demonstrations from 11 to 4 pm each day.

Lifetime Lab @ Old Cork Waterworks

with MathWorks, VEX Robots, & Lego

 

Tyndall National Institute

 

UCC School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences

 

APC Microbiome Ireland

 

Irish Bee Conservation Project – IBCP

 

and Fota Wildlife Park’s own Education Team

 

Want to know why the sky is blue? Why some coins turn green?  Or what causes static electricity? This is the weekend for you!

 

Fota Wildlife Park’s Education Team will be there to introduce your children to the magic of science and will be showing experiments and providing them with opportunities to explore the wonders of water, light, and magnetism, among others!

 

Lifetime Lab at the Old Cork Waterworks will be bringing their always popular MathWorks, VEX Robots and Lego for free building.
