This Halloween mid-term, Fota Wildlife Park has lots of spooky fun and wild adventures in store for all the family!

Lemur Trail

From Saturday, 25th October to 2nd November, visit the Palm Walk / Madagascar area and embark on the Lemur Trail.

  • Explore and learn more about the fascinating lemur species at Fota Wildlife Park,
  • Scan QR codes along the trail,
  • Test your knowledge: take part in the Lemur Quiz in the Gift Shop after completing the trail—answer correctly and you could win Family Day Tickets to the park, the perfect prize for your next wildlife adventure!

Face Painting Fun

Get into the Halloween spirit with our talented face painters! Kids can be transformed into spooky creatures or their favourite animals.

  • Venue: The Marquee
  • Dates: Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th, Monday 27th October (Bank Holiday Weekend) and Thursday 31st October (Halloween)
  • Times: 12 noon – 2.45 pm
  • Suitable for three years and older

Spooky Ranger Talks – Thursday 31st Halloween Only!

On Thursday, 31st October, join a Ranger from our animal care team for special Halloween Ranger Talks in the Tropical House. Learn about some of the more mysterious species that live there – including snakes and reptiles!

  • Times: 12.30 pm & 2.00 pm

Daily Feeding Times – until the 2nd November

Don’t miss the chance to see some of our endangered species during feeding time!

Feeding Schedule:

  • 10:45 – Penguins
  • 12:00 – Cheetah Run
  • 12:30 – Lion-tailed Macaques
  • 13:00 – Spider Monkeys
  • 13:30 – Drill Monkeys
  • 15:30 – Penguins
  • 16:00 – Red Panda

  • Opening: 9.30 am
  • Last Entry: 4.30 pm
  • Park Closes: 6.00 pm
