Planning school tours can be stressful, the team at Fota makes it hassle-free.

Simply book your school tour through our Education Department by emailing at [email protected] or by phone on +353 (0)21 481 2678 (Extension 206).

We advise teachers that when booking their school tour at Fota, that they book early as our slots fill up fast.

We arelocatedonly 15 minutes from Cork City and close to major towns such as Cobh and Midleton, making us easy to get to. We also have our own train stop!

Educational School Trips at Fota Wildlife Park

School tours at Fota Wildlife Park combine fun with meaningful learning, which is why schools return year after year.

Alongside academic learning, students can also take part in team-building modules focused on peer communication and cooperation.

Students can learn about the animals on our care, their habitats, ecosystems, conservation.

We recently built a state of the art Education, Conservation and Research Centre (ECRC) that hosts our indoor educational lectures, as well as other seasonal educational and public engagement events.

Fota Wildlife Park is a credited Discovery Centre. Our day-long STEM courses contribute towards the school's Primary Science Award.
