School's Out. Summer's Here. The Views Are Wild!
Visitors to Fota Wildlife Park have a final opportunity to experience the Panoramic Wheel this summer. Due to popular demand, the wheel will remain at the Park until it takes its final turn in September.
The Panoramic Wheel offers spectacular views across the wildlife habitats in the 100-acre Park and the surrounding heritage landscapes. Visitors to Fota Wildlife Park are encouraged to make the most of the summer holidays and experience the attraction before it departs.

Soaring 35 metres high above the Park, the wheel offers a unique opportunity to experience Fota Wildlife Park from above. Visitors can take in breathtaking views of some of the Park's most iconic residents, including giraffes, bison, zebras, meerkats and free-roaming wallabies and kangaroos. Aerial views include the famous cheetah run and the sweeping savannah, with stunning vistas across Cork Harbour, Great Island, Little Island and Fota Island.

From its elevated vantage point above Fota Wildlife Park, the Panoramic Wheel not only showcases the Park’s commitment to animal conservation in action but also highlights its broader environmental initiatives and investment in sustainability, such as the installation of the photovoltaic panels on the administration and education buildings and the refurbished energy-efficient giraffe house, projects that were co-funded by the Government via the Office of Public Works.
The Panoramic Wheel is operated by an external provider with over 25 years industry experience in operating Panoramic Wheels in various unique settings including city centre venues and other events.
The Panoramic Wheel offers visitors a unique and immersive way to experience Fota Wildlife Park, while highlighting its conservation efforts and rich natural heritage. The experience is optional and ticketed, with prices starting at €5 per person, available from a dedicated ticket booth within the Wildlife Park.
The Views Are Wild! Don't miss your chance to see Fota Wildlife Park from above this summer. Miss it. Miss out.
