Fota Wildlife Park is currently closed for a number of weeks, following an outbreak of H5N1 avian influenza, which originated from wild bird populations in the Cork Harbour area. In the meantime, our expert animal care team continue to provide the highest standards of welfare for all species in our care and remains committed to our conservation breeding programmes for rare and endangered species, with animal care continuing diligently behind closed doors.

It costs approximately €120,000 per week to run Fota Wildlife Park, a conservation charity, and your continued support makes a real difference, especially during these tough times when we are closed.

Our online gift vouchers are available in various values and can be redeemed for annual passes (available online), or day tickets and gift shop items when we reopen. It’s the perfect way to share something special while continuing to help us protect wildlife and support conservation.
