Update on Feeding Times and Easter Wildlife Talks

From Saint Patrick’s weekend, Fota Wildlife Park will recommence the feeding times schedule, so feeding times will also be running for the Easter mid-term, if you are planning a visit!

Check out the feeding times schedule below as this is a great way to plan your route around Fota Wildlife Park and see your favourite animals being fed.

So, from Saturday the 16th of March until the end of October (exact date TBC) daily feeding times will be as follows:

 

Penguins 11.00
Cheetah Run 12 noon
Lion Tailed Macaque 12:30
Spiders 13:00
Drill 13:30
Penguin 15:30
Red Panda 16:00
Seal 16:30

 

Feeding times have remained a firm favourite with visitors throughout the years it’s a great way to see exactly the type of work that goes on at Fota Wildlife Park and see up close the Ranger’s daily care of the animals.

Wildlife Talks This Easter Break!

For Easter, from Saturday the 23rd of March until Sunday 7th of April for two weeks only we will be bringing back wildlife talks delivered by our education department team, please see the schedule below:

 An eggs-cellent fun trail starting Saturday March 23rd!

Running throughout the Easter Break the whole family can enjoy this egg-cellent trail at Fota Wildlife Park, you’ll be hopping mad to discover our fun-facts-filled Easter Egg Trail around the Park. Just follow the QR codes on each cluster of Easter Eggs, and you get to take part in a fun interactive quiz on your journey through the Park.
Each cluster of eggs features a special egg from some of the many birds that are at home at Fota Wildlife Park! While stocks last participates who get a minimum of 50% right (10 answers), can claim a limited edition Fota at 40 Badge (subject to availability) and a digital certificate! Just go the gift shop and show your answers to our team to claim your badge!*
