Adult Education - Fota Wildlife Park

Adult Education

Adult Education

As Fota Wildlife Park’s educational activities have grown and developed over the years, so have its connections with third-level institutions across Ireland and further afield.

A number of third-level courses in Animal Management as well as Biodiversity and Conservation are now offered through the Park. These are conducted with universities, ITs and a number of FETAC-accredited institutions.

The Park collaborates with UCC’s School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences (BEES) on an ongoing basis, providing field study opportunities for undergraduate, Masters and PhD work.

These studies can provide the Park with valuable information about our own efforts to provide the best possible quality of life for all species under our care and are in line with our objectives of making education-related activities a priority in every day operations.
