Fota Wildlife Park’s exhibition of “Fotagraphy” winning photos from our 2022 Photography Competition, taken in the Park and featuring in our 2023 calendar that celebrates 40 years of conservation in action, is now open. Available to view in Cobh Library’s exhibition space until the 29th of June.

We were delighted to welcome so many people, and to meet some of our winners to at the opening event. Thanks to Toddy Stafford, current Cobh & Harbour Chamber president for opening the exhibition, past president Johanna Murphy was also in attendance, pictured below with our Director, Sean McKeown.

We’re thrilled to be hosted by Cork County Council, Cobh Library and to have the show running in this beautiful exhibition space in the center of Cobh.
A big thanks also to our adjudicator Darragh Kane for selecting all the stunning winning entries from thousands of images!

Thanks to Cobh Library and Julie O’Donnell for allowing us to play a special soundscape for duration of the exhibition. The soundscape was recorded in the Park this year. Be sure to listen out for the ‘crex, crex’ of the corncrake, calls from the gibbons, and the fanning of feathers from peacocks.
