Today FM will be broadcasting live from Fota Wildlife Park this coming Saturday 6th to launch their annual Tree Week and as an incentive to go green the park is offering discounts to everyone who takes the train.
Tree week is a special week to celebrate the wonderful array of trees that are in the Fota Wildlife Park. They will have special talks, nature trails and tree hunts from Saturday 6th until Friday 12th.
To launch the week Phil Cawley from Today FM will be broadcasting his weekly show live from the Fota Wildlife Park this coming Saturday from 11 – 2pm. The show will give listeners a chance to win a fantastic prize to stay at the 5 star Fota Island Resort which will include entry to the park.
The park is also offering an incentive to the public to go green and take the train with discounts being offered to customers. The park will be giving €2.50 off an adult ticket and €1.50 off a child/student/OAP ticket with a valid rail ticket during the duration of promotion.
Irish Rail offers a regular service to Fota Station from Kent Station and Cobh throughout the year, with the station less than 2 minutess to the entrance of the park. Irish Rail currently have a number of offers including a €10/5 return ticket for Adult/child anywhere in Cork and Kerry after 9am daily, more details can be found on www.irishrail.ie.
